It achieved a price of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,410.14), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 34%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Trevor Paglen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Discarded Rocket Body Approaching the Disk of the Moon (SL-8 R/B), which sold at auction in November 2021 for USD 43,750.00 (€ 38,761.41).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Reaper Drone) von Trevor Paglen kam im Oktober 2020 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 10.410,14) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 34%. Für andere Arbeiten von Trevor Paglen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Discarded Rocket Body Approaching the Disk of the Moon (SL-8 R/B) beobachtet, die im November 2021 für USD 43.750,00 (€ 38.761,41) versteigert wurde.
