Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2021 Christies held the auction Important Japanese Art, which included the work Sogo No Tsuma No Tamashii (Ghost Of Sogo'S Wife) by Toyohara Kunichika. The price achieved of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,318.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Toyohara Kunichika achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Artisans, Beauties And Annual Events in March 2021 with an auction result of USD 56,250.00 (€ 47,900.88).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2021 führte Christies die Auktion Important Japanese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sogo No Tsuma No Tamashii (Ghost Of Sogo'S Wife) von Toyohara Kunichika zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.318,91) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Toyohara Kunichika erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Artisans, Beauties And Annual Events im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 47.900,88).
