The »bidding war« ended at USD 1,785.00 (€ 1,541.85), 49% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Totoya Hokkei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tiger Looking At The Moon in September 2021 with an auction result of USD 350,000.00 (€ 302,323.57).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 1.785,00 (€ 1.541,85) und damit 49% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Totoya Hokkei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tiger Looking At The Moon im September 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 350.000,00 (€ 302.323,57).
