In the Fine Japanese and Korean Art, including the Crawford Collection of Surimono auction, the work Edo Period (1615-1868), 1810S sold for USD 8,925.00 (€ 7,709.25) - well above the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Totoya Hokkei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tiger Looking At The Moon in September 2021 with an auction result of USD 350,000.00 (€ 302,323.57).
