Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2008 Christies in Milan held the auction Post War and Contemporary Art, which included the work Senza titolo by Toti Scialoja. The price achieved of EUR 4,940.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Toti Scialoja achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Metamorfosi in November 2007 with an auction result of EUR 75,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2008 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion Post War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Senza titolo von Toti Scialoja zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.940,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Toti Scialoja erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Metamorfosi im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 75.800,00.
