The work Fabbriche Sul Tevere by Toti Scialoja was auctioned at Sothebys in Milan in May 2009. It achieved a price of EUR 9,375.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 34 %. Admittedly, works by Toti Scialoja have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Metamorfosi in November 2007 with an auction result of EUR 75,800.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 34 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Fabbriche Sul Tevere von Toti Scialoja kam im Mai 2009 bei Sothebys in Mailand zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 9.375,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 34 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Toti Scialoja auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Metamorfosi im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 75.800,00.
