Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2008 Christies in London held the auction The Italian Sale, which included the work Due di Febbraio by Toti Scialoja. The price achieved of GBP 43,250.00 (€ 55,128.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 35,000.00 – 50,000.00. Other works by Toti Scialoja have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2007 the work Metamorfosi was auctioned for EUR 75,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion The Italian Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Due di Febbraio von Toti Scialoja zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 43.250,00 (€ 55.128,23) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 35.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Toti Scialoja konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2007 die Arbeit Metamorfosi für EUR 75.800,00 versteigert.
