Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Summer, 1990 by Toshimitsu Imai was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Bonhams in London in June 2021. It changed hands for a price of GBP 4,845.00 (€ 5,645.68) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Toshimitsu Imai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Temps Modernes in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 3,680,000.00 (€ 414,607.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Summer, 1990 von Toshimitsu Imai wurde im Juni 2021 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 4.845,00 (€ 5.645,68) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Toshimitsu Imai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Temps Modernes im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.680.000,00 (€ 414.607,11).
