Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Woman reading by Tor Bjurström was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 32,000.00 (€ 3,695.75) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Tor Bjurström have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Motif from Skärhamn in May this year with an auction result of SEK 185,000.00 (€ 15,940.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Woman reading von Tor Bjurström kam im Oktober 2013 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 32.000,00 (€ 3.695,75) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tor Bjurström auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Motif from Skärhamn im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 185.000,00 (€ 15.940,49).
