The work Fishermen by Tor Bjurström was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2018. It achieved a price of SEK 28,000.00 (€ 2,700.67), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 40%. Admittedly, works by Tor Bjurström have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Motif from Skärhamn in May this year with an auction result of SEK 185,000.00 (€ 15,940.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 40 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Fishermen von Tor Bjurström kam im Oktober 2018 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 28.000,00 (€ 2.700,67) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 40%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tor Bjurström auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Motif from Skärhamn im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 185.000,00 (€ 15.940,49).
