The work Landscape by Tor Bjurström was sold in the Rolf Schmitz Collection H056 auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2018. It achieved a price of SEK 30,000.00 (€ 2,893.58), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67%. Admittedly, works by Tor Bjurström have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Motif from Skärhamn in May this year with an auction result of SEK 185,000.00 (€ 15,940.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 67 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Tor Bjurström wurde im Oktober 2018 in der Auktion Rolf Schmitz Collection H056 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 30.000,00 (€ 2.893,58) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tor Bjurström auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Motif from Skärhamn im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 185.000,00 (€ 15.940,49).
