It achieved a price of SEK 30,000.00 (€ 2,893.58), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67%. Admittedly, works by Tor Bjurström have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Motif from Skärhamn in May this year with an auction result of SEK 185,000.00 (€ 15,940.49).

Die Arbeit Landscape von Tor Bjurström wurde im Oktober 2018 in der Auktion Rolf Schmitz Collection H056 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 30.000,00 (€ 2.893,58) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tor Bjurström auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Motif from Skärhamn im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 185.000,00 (€ 15.940,49).
