The work Sculpture Bench (Banco escultura) by Tony Tasset was worth GBP 6,250.00 (€ 8,045.82) to a buyer in December 2014. This price was achieved in the auction Under the Influence at Phillips in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Tony Tasset; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Domestic Abstraction sold at auction in December 2014 with the realized price of USD 16,250.00 (€ 13,428.64).
