Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2009 a collector was able to acquire the work Segoria by Tony Tasset for USD 62.50 (€ 48.81). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tony Tasset achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Domestic Abstraction in December 2014 with an auction result of USD 16,250.00 (€ 13,428.64).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2009 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Segoria von Tony Tasset für USD 62,50 (€ 48,81) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tony Tasset erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Domestic Abstraction im Dezember 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 16.250,00 (€ 13.428,64).
