Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Domestic Abstraction by Tony Tasset was sold in the The House Sale auction at Christies in New York in July 2006. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 400.00 – 600.00, the actual price achieved of USD 420.00 (€ 329.05) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tony Tasset achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Domestic Abstraction in December 2014 with an auction result of USD 16,250.00 (€ 13,428.64).

Die Arbeit Domestic Abstraction von Tony Tasset wurde im Juli 2006 in der Auktion The House Sale bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 420,00 (€ 329,05) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
