Despite a disappointment, a good price for Tony Swain
This work of art by Tony Swain could be acquired at Phillips in New York in September 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Under the Influence auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 1,625.00 (€ 1,208.27) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Despite this disappointing result, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by Tony Swain that we have observed at auction so far.
