Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,125.00 (€ 6,093.45) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Tony Scherman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bonaparte in May 2012 with an auction result of CAD 39,000.00 (€ 30,477.03).
