Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Jasmine 21-88, 1988 by Tony Berlant was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in September last year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 5,737.50 (€ 5,864.77). Admittedly, works by Tony Berlant have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Letter in June 2000 with an auction result of USD 32,900.00 (€ 34,468.31).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Jasmine 21-88, 1988 von Tony Berlant kam im September letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 5.737,50 (€ 5.864,77) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tony Berlant auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Letter im Juni 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 32.900,00 (€ 34.468,31).
