Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Tony Berlant was auctioned at Bonhams in April this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 5,355.00 (€ 4,850.54). Admittedly, works by Tony Berlant have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Letter in June 2000 with an auction result of USD 32,900.00 (€ 34,468.31).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Tony Berlant kam im April diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 5.355,00 (€ 4.850,54) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tony Berlant auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Letter im Juni 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 32.900,00 (€ 34.468,31).
