Auction result well in line with expectations
In April this year Christies in Amsterdam held the auction 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam, which included the work Alternazione Visuale by Toni Costa. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 12,000.00 – 18,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 12,600.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Toni Costa have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dinamica Visuale in March 2016 with an auction result of GBP 47,500.00 (€ 59,973.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April diesen Jahres führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam durch, in der auch die Arbeit Alternazione Visuale von Toni Costa zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 12.600,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Toni Costa auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dinamica Visuale im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 47.500,00 (€ 59.973,44).
