In November 2014 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, which included the work Dinamica Visuale by Toni Costa. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 23,750.00 58% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Toni Costa - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dinamica Visuale, which sold at auction in March 2016 for GBP 47,500.00 (€ 59,973.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 58 % übertroffen
Im November 2014 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dinamica Visuale von Toni Costa zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 23.750,00 und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Toni Costa mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dinamica Visuale beobachtet, die im März 2016 für GBP 47.500,00 (€ 59.973,44) versteigert wurde.
