Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Malaysian Fishing Village by Tong Chin Sye was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2016. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 68,750.00 (€ 7,745.72). Other works by Tong Chin Sye have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 81,250.00 (€ 9,299.04) in May 2019 for the work Street Scene.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Malaysian Fishing Village von Tong Chin Sye wurde im April 2016 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 68.750,00 (€ 7.745,72) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Tong Chin Sye haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 81.250,00 (€ 9.299,04) im Mai 2019 für die Arbeit Street Scene beobachtet.
