Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Silver Herald of Winter by Tomoko Nagai was sold in the Contemporary Art | Hong Kong auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in March last year. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 69,300.00 (€ 7,977.65), 16% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tomoko Nagai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Day Off Of Fruit Punch (Painted In 2015) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 660,000.00 (€ 673,989.13).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Silver Herald of Winter von Tomoko Nagai wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Art | Hong Kong bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 69.300,00 (€ 7.977,65) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tomoko Nagai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Day Off Of Fruit Punch (Painted In 2015) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 660.000,00 (€ 673.989,13).
