Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work The Journey of A Fish by Tomoko Nagai. It changed hands for a price of HKD 36,000.00 (€ 4,353.52) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tomoko Nagai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Day Off Of Fruit Punch (Painted In 2015) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 660,000.00 (€ 673,989.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Journey of A Fish von Tomoko Nagai zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 36.000,00 (€ 4.353,52) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tomoko Nagai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Day Off Of Fruit Punch (Painted In 2015) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 660.000,00 (€ 673.989,13).
