The work Ms Little Hairy (Painted In 2015) by Tomoko Nagai was sold in the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April this year. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 84,000.00 (€ 85,780.43), 29% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Tomoko Nagai have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Day Off Of Fruit Punch (Painted In 2015) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 660,000.00 (€ 673,989.13).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 29 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Ms Little Hairy (Painted In 2015) von Tomoko Nagai wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 84.000,00 (€ 85.780,43) und damit 29% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tomoko Nagai auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Day Off Of Fruit Punch (Painted In 2015) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 660.000,00 (€ 673.989,13).
