Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Tomma Abts was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2017. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,968.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tomma Abts achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tiard in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 212,500.00 (€ 239,634.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Tomma Abts kam im April 2017 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.968,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tomma Abts erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tiard im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 212.500,00 (€ 239.634,44).
