Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Up Before the Beak, Angry Swan Guards Bridge after Crash by Tom Hunter for GBP 693.00 (€ 774.14). This price was achieved in the auction New Now at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tom Hunter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Woman Reading A Possession Order in March 2016 with an auction result of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,782.48).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Up Before the Beak, Angry Swan Guards Bridge after Crash von Tom Hunter für GBP 693,00 (€ 774,14) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tom Hunter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Woman Reading A Possession Order im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.782,48).
