Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work Greenhouse Workers by Tom Coates for GBP 360.00 (€ 528.89). This price was achieved in the auction British and Continental Pictures at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Tom Coates have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Street Scene, Florence in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 3,360.00 (€ 4,986.07).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Greenhouse Workers von Tom Coates für GBP 360,00 (€ 528,89) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion British and Continental Pictures bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tom Coates auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Street Scene, Florence im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.360,00 (€ 4.986,07).
