Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2011 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Ken Howard at Campese, Giglio by Tom Coates. The price achieved of GBP 562.50 (€ 656.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Admittedly, works by Tom Coates have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Street Scene, Florence in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 3,360.00 (€ 4,986.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2011 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ken Howard at Campese, Giglio von Tom Coates zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 562,50 (€ 656,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tom Coates auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Street Scene, Florence im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.360,00 (€ 4.986,07).
