However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tom Coates - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Street Scene, Florence, which sold at auction in June 2007 for GBP 3,360.00 (€ 4,986.07).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.375,00 (€ 1.595,00) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 72%. Für andere Arbeiten von Tom Coates mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Street Scene, Florence beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für GBP 3.360,00 (€ 4.986,07) versteigert wurde.
