In November 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work Garden Path at Home by Tom Coates. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,912.50 (€ 2,245.45), 28% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tom Coates - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Street Scene, Florence, which sold at auction in June 2007 for GBP 3,360.00 (€ 4,986.07).

Im November 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Garden Path at Home von Tom Coates zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.912,50 (€ 2.245,45) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Tom Coates mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Street Scene, Florence beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für GBP 3.360,00 (€ 4.986,07) versteigert wurde.
