Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2006 Christies in New York held the auction First Open Post War and Contemporary Art, which included this untitled work by Tobias Lehner. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 10,800.00 (€ 8,512.65) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Tobias Lehner have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2006 the work Ohne Title was auctioned for USD 16,800.00 (€ 13,839.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2006 führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open Post War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Tobias Lehner zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 10.800,00 (€ 8.512,65) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Tobias Lehner konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2006 die Arbeit Ohne Title für USD 16.800,00 (€ 13.839,69) versteigert.
