Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2018 Phillips in an online auction held the auction Phillips x Artsy: Summer School 2018, which included the work The Puppy by Tina Barney. The price achieved of USD 688.00 (€ 587.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tina Barney achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jill and Polly in the Bathroom in October this year with an auction result of USD 31,750.00 (€ 30,043.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2018 führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion Phillips x Artsy: Summer School 2018 durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Puppy von Tina Barney zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 688,00 (€ 587,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tina Barney erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Jill and Polly in the Bathroom im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 31.750,00 (€ 30.043,53).
