Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Portrait. by Tina Barney was auctioned at VAN HAM in June last year. The price achieved of EUR 2,376.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tina Barney achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jill and Polly in the Bathroom in October this year with an auction result of USD 31,750.00 (€ 30,043.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Portrait. von Tina Barney kam im Juni letzten Jahres bei VAN HAM zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.376,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tina Barney erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Jill and Polly in the Bathroom im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 31.750,00 (€ 30.043,53).
