This artwork by Timothy Greenfield-Sanders achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in September 2018. In the Contemporary Art Online auction, the work Lou Reed - Laurie Anderson, 2000 sold for USD 625 (€ 538) - well above the upper estimate of USD 300. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Timothy Greenfield-Sanders achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 46,000 (€ 31,318).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Timothy Greenfield-Sanders erzielte im September 2018 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Online wurde die Arbeit Lou Reed - Laurie Anderson, 2000 für USD 625 (€ 538) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 300. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Timothy Greenfield-Sanders erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 46.000 (€ 31.318).
