Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2002 Christies in London held the auction Contemporary Day Sale, which included this untitled work by Tierney Gearon. The price achieved of GBP 2,390.00 (€ 3,696.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Other works by Tierney Gearon have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2002 the work without title was auctioned for GBP 4,182.50 (€ 6,469.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2002 führte Christies in London die Auktion Contemporary Day Sale durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Tierney Gearon zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.390,00 (€ 3.696,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Tierney Gearon konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2002 die Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 4.182,50 (€ 6.469,38) versteigert.
