In December 2015 Christies in London held the auction Old Master & British Drawings & Watercolours, which included the work Study Of A Man Wearing A Turban, Bust-Length, In The Manner Of Rembrandt by Thomas Worlidge. The result of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,715.90) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Thomas Worlidge have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Portrait Of A Gentleman Dressed In Furs in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 14,978.11).

Im Dezember 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master & British Drawings & Watercolours durch, in der auch die Arbeit Study Of A Man Wearing A Turban, Bust-Length, In The Manner Of Rembrandt von Thomas Worlidge zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.715,90) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Thomas Worlidge auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Portrait Of A Gentleman Dressed In Furs im Juli 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 14.978,11).
