later mounted in two silver gilt wood frames, with a facsimile of the receipt dated May 3rd 1765 listing '40 engravings received by Miss A Hoskyns from Mr Worlidge at Bath for Miss Clarke ....NB These were the first delivered but were kept at Bristol until they could be sent by a safe hand' (paperwork with department)

Die Arbeit A Set of Thirty-Two George Iii Engraved Prints of Intaglios von Thomas Worlidge kam im Januar 2006 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.320,00 (€ 1.934,73) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 32%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Thomas Worlidge auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Portrait Of A Gentleman Dressed In Furs im Juli 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 14.978,11).
