This artwork by Thomas Patch achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in June 2008. In the Old Master & 19th Century European Art auction, the work View Of A Mediterranean Harbor With Fishermen sold for USD 34,375.00 (€ 21,828.17) - well above the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Patch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A View Of The River Arno With The Ponte Alle Grazie, Florence in January 2008 with an auction result of USD 433,000.00 (€ 291,759.32).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Thomas Patch erzielte im Juni 2008 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Master & 19th Century European Art wurde die Arbeit View Of A Mediterranean Harbor With Fishermen für USD 34.375,00 (€ 21.828,17) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00.
