Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Thomas Patch achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in July 2017. In the Old Masters Day Sale auction, the work Mediterranean Harbour Scene sold for GBP 52,500.00 (€ 58,581.94) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Thomas Patch have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A View Of The River Arno With The Ponte Alle Grazie, Florence in January 2008 with an auction result of USD 433,000.00 (€ 291,759.32).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Thomas Patch erzielte im Juli 2017 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Masters Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Mediterranean Harbour Scene für GBP 52.500,00 (€ 58.581,94) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 18.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Thomas Patch auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A View Of The River Arno With The Ponte Alle Grazie, Florence im Januar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 433.000,00 (€ 291.759,32).
