Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work An Indication Piece, No. 1 Inner Hebrides, Scotland by Thomas Joshua Cooper for GBP 625.00 (€ 742.20). This price was achieved in the auction New Now at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Joshua Cooper achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Unexpected Nightfall- The Mid North Atlantic Ocean, Porto Moniz, The Island of Madeira (Near the North-most point of the Island), Portugal in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 10,270.27).

Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00.
