Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Premonitial Work by Thomas Joshua Cooper was sold in the PHOTOGRAPHS auction at Phillips in London in May 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,375.00 (€ 3,954.28) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Thomas Joshua Cooper - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Unexpected Nightfall- The Mid North Atlantic Ocean, Porto Moniz, The Island of Madeira (Near the North-most point of the Island), Portugal, which sold at auction in June 2008 for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 10,270.27).

Die Arbeit A Premonitial Work von Thomas Joshua Cooper wurde im Mai 2010 in der Auktion PHOTOGRAPHS bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.375,00 (€ 3.954,28) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
