Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 162.500,00 (€ 145.752,98) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Thomas Cole auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Catskill Mountain House im Dezember 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.463.500,00 (€ 1.161.784,55).
