Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Theodoor Soeterik could be acquired at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2002 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings auction, the work Angless in a moat by a castle changed hands for EUR 239.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Theodoor Soeterik achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Winter'S Day On The Ice Near A Mansion in March 2009 with an auction result of EUR 5,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Theodoor Soeterik konnte im September 2002 bei Christies in Amsterdam für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings wechselte die Arbeit Angless in a moat by a castle für EUR 239,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 400,00 – 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Theodoor Soeterik erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Winter'S Day On The Ice Near A Mansion im März 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.000,00.
