Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2001 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS AT THE KUNSTFABRIEK, which included the work Verwelkte rozen - Withered roses by Theo Swagemakers. The price achieved of NLG 2,585.00 (€ 1,131.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as NLG 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Other works by Theo Swagemakers have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in January 2001 the work A still life with fruits, a basket and a bowl was auctioned for NLG 4,465.00 (€ 1,953.80).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von NLG 2.585,00 (€ 1.131,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit NLG 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden.
