Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work A Pair Of Still Lifes Of Roses, Anemones, Tulips And Other Flowers In Bronze Urns, Resting Upon Stone Ledges by The Pseudo-Guardi for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 10,349.07). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by The Pseudo-Guardi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tulips, roses, morning glory and other flowers in a stone vase with narcissi growing beside; and Tulips, carnations and other flowers in an urn, with flowers in a glass vase and wild flowers on a stone, which sold at auction in December 2008 for GBP 37,250.00 (€ 39,123.34).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A Pair Of Still Lifes Of Roses, Anemones, Tulips And Other Flowers In Bronze Urns, Resting Upon Stone Ledges von The Pseudo-Guardi für GBP 8.125,00 (€ 10.349,07) erwerben.
