It achieved a price of USD 28,125.00 (€ 20,506.74), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 56%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by The Pseudo-Guardi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Tulips, roses, morning glory and other flowers in a stone vase with narcissi growing beside; and Tulips, carnations and other flowers in an urn, with flowers in a glass vase and wild flowers on a stone sold at auction in December 2008 with the realized price of GBP 37,250.00 (€ 39,123.34).
