The work Scream of Sorrowful by Thawan Duchanee was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November this year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 5,800,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 6,048,000.00 (€ 709,702.97). With this result, Scream of Sorrowful is even the most expensive work of art by Thawan Duchanee that we have observed at auctions so far.
