Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thawan Duchanee achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Scream of Sorrowful in November this year with an auction result of HKD 6,048,000.00 (€ 709,702.97).

Die Arbeit Shark von Thawan Duchanee kam im November 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 625.000,00 (€ 70.542,26) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thawan Duchanee erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Scream of Sorrowful im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.048.000,00 (€ 709.702,97).
