Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work After Malevich 2 by Tess Jaray for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,394.28). This price was achieved in the auction Art for Maggie's: Everyone's Home of Cancer Care at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tess Jaray achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lofty Grey in April 2019 with an auction result of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 40,715.11).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit After Malevich 2 von Tess Jaray für GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.394,28) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Art for Maggie's: Everyone's Home of Cancer Care bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tess Jaray erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lofty Grey im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 35.000,00 (€ 40.715,11).
