This artwork by Tess Jaray achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in April 2019. In the Modern | British & Irish Art auction, the work Lofty Grey sold for GBP 35,000.00 (€ 40,715.11) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. This high result makes Lofty Grey the most expensive artwork by Tess Jaray that we have observed at auctions so far.
